I think I was born a maker. One of my earliest process memories is working on a wood painting for my Mom.

Now, I primarily work in drawing, painting, printing and encaustic mediums out of my studio at home. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world for both abstract and figurative work. Recent work has been concerned with the human condition, memory and time.

René Evans is a Fine Art student and maker in Bangor, North Wales, UK, and is currently completing her BA through Bangor University at the Coleg Menai, Parc Menai site. Her creative practice explores nature and the human condition in relation to memories and time.
