Fragmented Memory

This Module’s work explores the theme of identity. What is public and private, what to hide and what to reveal, which is often linked to a fear of vulnerability. Some focus is on Diaspora identity, with it centred on a more contemporary use of the word, exploring the idea of otherness and belonging. Through mining fragments of history in family letters, books and memories, new relationships to the past are formed through the art work.
